Cabbage Roll Soup

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of converted long-grain white rice
- 3 cups of water
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 cups of water
- 1 (20 ounce) jar of pasta sauce
- 1 (10 ounce) can of tomato soup
- 3 ½ pounds of cabbage, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
How to Make Cabbage Roll Soup
- Boil the rice until it is soft and well-cooked, for about 20-25 minutes.
- Place a large soup pot over medium-high heat, cook and stir the beef on the hot pan until it is browned, or for 5-7 minutes. Drain the beef and dispose of the grease.
- Add the 2 cups of water, cooked rice, pasta sauce, tomato soup, cabbage, onion, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce into beef. After that, boil the soup, reduce heat to low or medium-low, and cover it.
- Simmer the cabbage until it is soft for 20-30 minutes.
